Airline catering workers at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas fuel the engine of Nevada’s economy, the tourism industry. Many workers in this industry were out of work for months and have still not financially recovered from the effects of the pandemic.
Airline catering workers are essential. They deserve good health care, a fair raise, safety, and a reasonable workload on-the-job. These workers have been doing more, and they deserve more.
Airline companies got $96 billion dollars in pandemic bailouts, their employees should not have to struggle to survive.
Airports that have passed airport living wages: Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, Newark, Oakland, Philly, Saint Louis, San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle, and D.C.
