With the midterms three weeks away, New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker campaigned in Las Vegas on Monday, rallying members of Nevada’s influential Culinary Union and focusing his message on lowering the cost of living.
Booker visited Las Vegas, a place described as familiar turf for him and a city his mother calls home. He addressed members of the Culinary Union, described as 60,000 strong and Nevada’s most powerful political force, urging them to turn out and outwork political opponents.
