Though she doesn’t have a job lined up following her graduation from the Culinary Academy’s program, Vasquez said the institution is helping her and her classmates with the job search, sending them opportunities and to job fairs. She said her goal is to work at a partner property under the Culinary Union, and the academy prepares people to do so.
