Meanwhile in Las Vegas, there's a lot of talk the day after Trump's speech at the RNC, particularly when he again proposed "no tax on tips."
"Waitresses and caddies and drivers and everybody," Trump said during his speech on Thursday. "It’s a large, large group of people that are being hurt badly. They make money, let them keep their money."
The Culinary Workers Union which represents 60,000 hospitality workers across Nevada, supports having no tax on tips.
"There's a bill in the United States Senate. And there is also a bill in Congress on the House side," said union secretary-treasurer Ted Pappageorge. "But we don't think taxes on tips are going to go away. But the tippers deserve relief. And so the only way it's going to happen is bipartisan."
