The strike against the Virgin Hotel in Las Vegas reached its 27th day on Wednesday, with tensions escalating as the Culinary Union urged artist Sha-Boozey to cancel his performance at the venue.
Despite the union's efforts, including a parody of his hit "A Bar Song" to capture his attention, Sha-Boozey proceeded with his show, crossing the picket line.
The union expressed disappointment, emphasizing the potential impact of Sha-Boozey's support.
"He's got a big hit song," says Culinary Union Secretary and Treasurer Ted Pappageorge, highlighting the strength and courage of the strikers.
The union believes that Sha-Boozey's backing could send a powerful message to Virgin Hotel management.
