LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Las Vegas Culinary Union announced it will strike at Harry Reid International Airport Friday.
Organizers say the strike will start Friday at 5 a.m. and the work stoppage will last for 24 hours. The union says it’s striking against Disadvantaged Business Enterprises employer, Village Pub, located at Terminal 3.
Nearly 30 workers are represented by the union at the fast food outlet. The union says it’s owned and operated by Airport Concessions LLC.
The union says members voted unanimously to strike on Nov. 12.
