Steve Sisolak to Clark County Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick have weighed in on the merits and prospects of adopting rent control — with the most dramatic move coming with the launch of a ballot initiative to limit rent increases in North Las Vegas by the politically powerful Culinary Union.
