Following 18 hours of negotiations, the Culinary Union Local 226 said it reached a tentative agreement with Fontainebleau Las Vegas.
The resort had a neutrality agreement with the union before it opened in December 2023 which gave workers the right to decide whether to join the union.
The agreement was reached around 3:30 a.m. Thursday and will cover nearly 3,300 workers, according to a post on the union’s X account. The union said it was the best contract ever that meets LV Strip standards.
The culinary union is still on strike at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas over a new union contract. It’s the union’s longest strike in more than two decades.
