The Mirage on the Las Vegas Strip closes its doors next week, which means thousands of people will be searchingfor new jobs.
One organization is helping those still on the hunt by teaching them new skills.
Culinary Academy of Las Vegas is providing technical skill instruction to elevate hospitality careers. For members of the Culinary Union, the program is free, and for one former employee, it's helping her dreams become reality.
"I came over here to have more opportunities to learn something else," said Rosa Guerra, a former Mirage employee.
