The Culinary Union says it has a new three-year contract with the Palms Casino Resort, covering about 900 employees at the property.
The agreement includes standard union language on worker security, safety buttons, sexual harassment and workload, among other protections, according to a spokesperson for Culinary.
About 95% of workers voted to accept the contract Tuesday, the union says. It's the union's first contract signed with the Palms since the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians purchased the casino-resort.
